Windows 11
It’s quite likely that by now, many of you will have noticed the release of Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 11. The platform is a development of the current Windows 10 platform and it’s likely that your Windows 10 PC is prompting you to carry out the upgrade (for free). Should you?
Here at CF Systems, we’ve been carrying out extensive testing of Windows 11 and have, so far, come across no compatibility issues with other software used by either our clients or by ourselves. However, we’d still recommend holding off on making the switchover for now. Windows 11 offers very little in the way of tangible productivity benefits for most business users and our view is that the changes in user interface could actually cause confusion for users comfortable and familiar with Windows 10. Windows 10 will remain supported by Microsoft until 2025.
